So I’ve said before that I have a Diastasis Recti. If you don’t know what that is here is a little explanation
”Diastasis recti (also known as abdominal separation) defined as a separation of the rectus abdominis muscle into right and left halves”
After 3 pregnancies and not really exercising or taking care of my body the way I should, it’s only become worse. I now have, of course, the “mummy tummy”, lower back pain, sciatica, pelvic floor issues, and bad posture.
I’ve been on the hunt for a program that 1) show me how to close the gap 2) show me how to keep it closed 3) be easy to follow 4) be specific on what NOT to do while healing my DR.

Could they make it any easier?! I don’t think so.
I contacted The Mummy Tummy team last week and I am so beyond ecstatic to tell you I have joined the program and I am starting it tomorrow! I will be checking every week or 2 ( no longer than 2 though) to show you my progress and how everything is going!
And now for the part that I’ve been dreading. My before photo…. here it is. My “mummy tummy”. Ya know what? I take that back. I’m not ashamed. It happened and now I’m fixing it. Not just because of appearances but because I want to be strong and healthy..
Do you or someone you know have a Diastasis? If so what have you done about it, if anything.
