Postpartum Exercise and A Review + Giveaway

So I was cleared to start exercising again at my 6 week appointment.

Which was..7 weeks ago. And I haven’t started an exercise routine. I can’t figure out WHEN or WHAT! Especially the what because of my Diastasis Recti. <~ SO frustrating. But more on that later.

I mean what is it with exercise?! I LOVE sports, and running, and lifting weights. I really do. Always have. So WHY is it so hard to just kick my butt into gear and DO IT?! Bleh….Idk…I’ll get there soon I suppose 🙂

However I HAVE been getting pumped and dancing to some pretty fun music that I just received courtesy of Family Christian! Let me tell ya…they will get ya moving! I love that they are praise and worship songs remixed into a fast upbeat tempo! It makes for the perfect Christian workout music to add to your playlist.

We received Mandisa

and Amy Grant

The kids hit play after breakfast every morning and we all end up dancing around the house within just a few minutes. I’m sure I look goofy but at least I’m getting to spend time with the kiddos AND get a little exercise in. Because, lets be realistic here, I have 3 kiddos 5 and under, exercise may not always look how I think it should. The important thing is that I’m moving, right?! I plan on starting a daily walk (outside while it’s not quite freezing yet) and using these CDs to keep me moving at a decent pace Smile

Since these are helping me dance my way back into a fitness routine, I thought I’d do a giveaway so you could use them for your fitness routine! ONE winner will receive BOTH of the above CDs. (US residents only please) TO ENTER: Leave a comment telling me your favorite workout and favorite workout music! I will then use to choose a winner Friday November 28th!

Hmmm… Fave workout? Treadmill and hand weights or Jillian Michaels Shred. Music? I can’t do music. If I’m on the treadmill I watch tv show or sermons or listen to sermons. If I’m just listening to music I feel. Like I’m not really accomplishing much of anything. I can’t listen to anything other than the workout DVD when I’m doing those so no music there either. But, I will listen to music if im doing hodge lodge exercises to create my own workout.

right now, I just love walking. I like listening to upbeat music and usually tune into my local Christian radio station or listen to some classic 80’s 🙂

My favorite work out is any crossfit- type curcuit. I like working hard, fast, and quick. 🙂 I also love to dance around the house with my kiddos, and THAT is still a workout in itself. For those workouts we listen to music like mandisa, amy grant, flyleaf, paramore, or agent23skidoo. Cant wait to see some more updates from you with all of this stuff, maybe we can link up if I get my blogging butt in gear 😉
